Compound Probability

Compound Probability:

Compound probability is calculated when two or more that two events are happening which are not dependent on each other that is the two events are mutually exclusive events. Two or more independent events are events in which the outcome of one event has no effect on the outcome of another event.Compound probability is equal to the product of the probability of the first event and the probability of the second event.

We can find compound probability by multiplying the probability of the first event by the probability of the second event.

If the probability of first event = p

The probability of the second event = q

Then the compound probability will be =  p X q.
